A Bit About Us

The Female Engineering Mentorship (FEM) Program is a mentorship initiative that was launched by the Faculty of Engineering in 2018 with the aim of empowering and supporting prospective female engineering students in their transition to university and on to a career in a STEM field. In creating a community of current and prospective female students, the FEM Program is able to support both one-on-one mentorship while also providing the opportunity for group engagement in events and networking events.

Apart from providing one-on-one mentorship, we are also committed to showing our members where an Engineering degree can take them. We will achieve this by featuring some incredible women who have graduated from Engineering and have gone on to do an array of different things.  We hope that from this, our members will find the kinds of mentors and connections that inspire them to go on and do great things.

Welcome to our blog. We hope our stories inspire you and push you to chase your dreams.
